Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, self-starting individual with a history of success in account management or sales roles in the AEC industry. The Construction Account Manager is responsible for developing, growing, and managing our enterprise construction customer base.  They will advance Measure’s position as an industry leader and expert in commercial drone services for the AEC industry.  This individual will report to the Vice President of AEC and work closely with the Flight Operations, Data Engineering and Sales Departments.

Responsibilities and Duties

The ideal candidate will be energetic, hardworking, creative, and able to think and work independently. Additionally, he/she will display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to connect and establish rapport with a wide variety of members within a customer account.  As an account manager for Measure, he/she will report directly to the Vice President of AEC and be responsible for managing existing strategic customer accounts, accurately forecasting services to be sold, and increasing drone technology adoption within each account.

The confidence to target, educate, and encourage existing customers to further adopt drone technology in new and creative ways is a must. Interfacing with the data engineering, drone engineering, and flight operations departments will be a large portion of your responsibility as an account manager and an absolute necessity to deliver best-in-class services to Measure customers.

Some travel required (est. 20-40% of time)

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an account management or sales capacity for enterprise services
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, Surveying or related field AND 5+ years of professional experience in the AEC industry; or Master’s level degree AND 3+ years of professional experience in the AEC industry
  • Demonstrated experience in operations, project management, sales, consulting, or product development in the AEC industry
  • Track record of success in consistently exceeding overall goals
  • Confidence and proven ability to grow business accounts
  • Comfortable calling and interacting with senior executives of large enterprise firms
  • Highly effective written, presentation, and closing skills
  • Able to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing start-up environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, especially active listening.
  • Organized and able to follow a system
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and voice new ideas
  • Unquestionable ethics and integrity and commitment to excellence
  • Flexibility in the face of obstacles and sense of humor
  • Fluent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Salesforce experience highly desired
